Un groupe que j'affectionne particulièrement. Je connais personnellement le guitariste-chanteur du groupe (mon prof de guitare :p) et je dois dire que j'ai aimé le metal grâce à leur morceaux. Voici leur bio, dispo sur leur MySpace :
The band was originally founded in '99 by its recurrent members, Yo and Rem's respectively guitars and drums players. Through various members changes and band name transformations, Chaospit has mutated and diversified its music style since its creation.
Under the name 'Fearmind', the band, there influenced mainly by heavy-thrash-metal bands such as Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer, was composing a soft yet melodic music. It is actually with 'Amnezia' that the band members started including lyrics and vocals in their rawer music.
In 2004, the band has been rebaptized 'Coldburn', and from there it already had a much better definition of its musical inspirations, thus finding itself as well as its way to coherence. This year has also been the recording of "Better be dead", a self-produced demo gathering the band's various compositions.
2006 was definately marked by the accomplishment of the band with the entering of Steph, bass player. Steph shares his musical influences and adds the magic to the band through his musicality and lightning-fast finger playing. The band now produces a more violent than ever, yet melodic music. Currently preparing and finalizing heavy shit for the first studio album, the band rehearses and polish its music and aggression.
Chaospit was born.
